| Job Description |
Qualifications: BS Degree in Chemical Engineering. Minimum 8 years experience in engineering 1CDesign 1D of capital projects in Specialty Chemicals, Polymers, Oil/Gas and/or Pharmaceutical facilities. Professional Engineer Registration desired, but not mandatory. Desire to concentrate on details. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. Willingness to occasional travel.
Responsibilities: Participate as part of a process design team on various projects. Exhibit good understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practices. Assist with planning and sequencing of process deliverables. Execute process tasks within Budget and Schedule. Participate in meetings with the client and project team to establish project objectives and to coordinate and/or resolve design issues. Complete process engineering studies, reports and calculations. Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs. Generate process equipment data sheets and specifications. Generate technical bid tabs to confirm vendor quotations meet technical requirements. Review of vendor submittal drawings and documents. Check process deliverables, prior to formal issue. Will work under the direction of a Senior level Process Discipline Lead Engineer, however, continuous supervision must not be required. |
