Job Description
Non-Negotiable Requirements:

-Ten years (10) experience with EPCM services for all surface facilities associated with underground gas storage projects.

-Understand the principles and physical aspects involved in underground gas storage projects.


Duties:

-Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineer (P.E. or equivalent by strong experience and proven capabilities) - Louisiana project location (not coastal zone).

-At least ten years experience with EPCM services for all surface facilities associated with underground gas storage projects - domal salt caverns, depleted reservoir, aquifer or other.

-This facility is to service a depleted oil reservoir for gas storage, so applicant should understand the principles and physical aspects involved.

The project will be comprised of:

[a] three interconnect / meter / filter separation / launcher stations with customer pipelines (bi-directional and approximately 0.5 acres each),

[b] more than 20 miles of bi-directional 24" interconnect header to the main gas facility,

[c] a main gas handling facility with gas compression, separation, dehydration, NGL refrigeration extraction plant, etc.,

[d] two main flow lines, to low and high pressure wells, [e} a central tank battery for handling produced oily water from the low pressure production wells.


Minimum responsibilities and duties of the project manager will involve the following:

-Project will entail a FERC Natural Gas Act 7c Pre-filing, followed by a subsequent FERC 7c project filing- Technical interface with FERC, Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE), and Louisiana Dept of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) jurisdictional authorities - lead technical authority to client regarding Resource Report No. 1 and coordinated agreement of all other geological, commercial and environmental document submissions prepared by others.

Coordination of others performing all environmental impact surveys, studies and regulatory reports.

Interface with Clients geological and geophysical specialists for definition of all performance and product parameters at the wellheads [wellhead wing valve flange is point of responsibility demarcation - surface and subsurface facilities).

Coordination and interfacing with client's land men, land legal and land survey groups for constructability and "best method" assessments.

Technical representation pursuant to public and governmental hearings and showings.

Coordination, with support from company's project controls group, of discipline engineers and designers, procurement, expediting and inspection, and construction / pre-commissioning activities.

Comprehensive project monitoring, coordination, scheduled status / planning reports to Client.

Technical review and release approvals of all Company deliverables.

Responsibility for conformance with all Company procedures for work performance and quality assurance.

Coordination of HAZID, HAZOP, Environmental Training and all Regulatory / Client specified H.S.S.E. workshops and reports.

Periodic field assessments, and site meetings with Client representatives, suppliers and contractors.

Responsibility for project schedule conformance - all involved.
