| Job Description |
Structural Analysis and Finite Element Modeling
Candidate needs 10 to 15 years experience in structural analysis.
Will be responsible for stress analysis, detail part sizing, and strength verification of primary structural components and assemblies.
Must have thorough understanding of load paths.
Must be capable of sizing complex load introduction fittings using a combination of Finite Element analysis and classical hand stress analysis methods.
Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis is a must.
Position requires good oral and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills.
LABOR CLASSIFICATION, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL/UNIQUE SKILLS
BS required; MS degree in AE, CE, ME or EM preferred
Must be proficient with UNIX, NASTRAN, PATRAN, FEMAP or IDEAS and Microsoft Office tools. MATHCAD preferred. |
