Lead Project Scheduler
Primary Job Responsibilities
Senior Manager level; Accomplishes results through lower-level subordinate supervisors or experienced exempt employees. Directs subordinates based on general policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed on completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Interprets and executes policies that affect subordinate units. May head a centralized function. Functions as unit advisor; involved in daily operations only to resolve complex problems or meet schedules. Frequent contacts with internal and external individuals at all management levels. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings related to specific operations. Plans and prepares production schedules for business unit or organization. Translates orders into a sequential work schedule: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion deadlines: Analyzes specifications and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements: Plans and schedules workflow for each operation according to previously established sequences and lead times: Plans sequence of operations: Confers with supervisors to determine status of assigned projects: Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions: Prepares status reports: May prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
Training and Experience
15 years of Planning & Scheduling experience required
BA or BS or related experience
7 years Project Controls Supervision experience required
10 years Refinery and/ or Petro-chemical experience required
Experience must be predominately EPC work
10 years hands on Primavera experience with P6 experience
Instrument/ electrical/ control systems experience

Physical Requirements Able to do job walks requiring climbing in an operating facility wearing protective clothing in a hot climate
