Marine Pipeline Engineer – Abu Dhabi
B.S or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university with minimum 10 years relevant experience in the oil/gas industry. (advanced degree could supplement years of experience)
Have been in Consultant's organization for at least three (3) years in similar position.
Candidate should have detailed engineering, feed or PMC experience in offshore pipelines.
Besides extensive expertise in sub-sea pipeline design & engineering familiarity in pipeline materials application and stress engineering is essential. Must be fully knowledgeable about codes, standards & recommended practices for this discipline.
Shall have handled FEED Engineer and EPC Contractor and developed their deliverables.
Experience with Consultant or owner organization in the execution of similar projects is a must. Such participation in projects in Middle East is beneficial.
In additional he shall be responsible to assist PMC Project Manager (as offshore prime) on all project management functions/issues related to the sub-sea pipeline and offshore facilities at Zakum field.
