| Job Description |
Great growth potential: Immediate need for a Senior Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer with experience in design of I&C systems including DCS for power plants.
Great pay rate, plus per diem on top of pay rate!!
This is a permanent position.
Responsibilities
-Responsibilities will include writing Functional Specifications to meet Regulatory Requirements and developing Logic Diagrams to meet the Functional Specification
-Responsible for Controls development using MatLab/Simulink and testing controls in the simulator
-Responsible for developing the I&C network architecture
Requirements
-BSEE and a minimum of 10 years experience
-Requires I&C systems design of DCS such as Ovation, Tricon or GE MK VIe and comparable systems for Nuclear, Fossil, Gas, Coal Power Plants, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical
-Experience must include P & ID s as related to instrumentation issues, process system descriptions, control communication network diagrams, and process elementary diagrams
-Experience with Boolean logic diagrams should also be included
-Experience should include basic knowledge in power distribution including high 220V and less and low voltage systems, electronic control systems, etc. and/or Instrumentation & Controls I&C, including commissioning and installation
