| Job Description |
Duties:
Plans, manages and coordinates the engineering activities on a medium to large project of moderate complexity or assists a more experienced project engineer on a large and/or technically complex project.
**Assures that all engineering activities on assigned projects are timely, accurate, high in quality, and are cost effective.
**Gives effective presentations to customers, suppliers and internally within the organization, as necessary.
**Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills Requirements:
**Extensive and comprehensive knowledge and experience with the engineering work processes associated with the organizations products and services and an effective working knowledge of the organization's technologies.
**Excellent written and oral skills.
**Develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth; takes responsibility for subordinates' actions.
**Sets expectations and monitors delegated activities.
**Gathers and analyzes information skillfully, while developing alternative solutions, if necessary.
**Understands business implications of decisions.
**Works with, and communicates effectively with customers, vendors, organizations technical disciplines and project management team.
**Works with administrative supervision and effectively manages multiple and conflicting priorities.
**Understands both the technical and commercial aspects of the organization's projects and proposals.
**Skilled at organizing, planning, coordinating and reviewing the work product from multiple disciplines.
Qualifications:
15-20 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:
ETHYLENE CRACKERS, POLYMERS, EO/PO, GLYCOLS AND POLYESTERS
ONLY CHEMICAL/PETROCHEMICAL BACKGROUND.
NOT LOOKING FOR REFINERY EXPERIENCE- MUST HAVE STRONG CHEMICAL BACKGROUND.
