| Job Description |
Duties:
Prepares proposal and contract design calculations using standards and/or new methods as required.
Prepares and issues contract information CI sheets based on calculations.
Reviews drawings and other engineering documentation for compliance with CI sheet requirements, codes, and standards.
Prepares technical specifications for purchased equipment.
Coordinates and interfaces with equipment suppliers.
Prepares technical evaluations of suppliers proposals.
Gives effective presentations to customers, suppliers and internally within the organization.
Works with and communicates with project management team.
Essential Job Functions Under Certain Circumstances:
Consults with supervisor and other experts concerning unusual problems and develops and applies advanced techniques and methods, as required.
May serve as an individual contributor or may plan, assign, coordinate, and review work of other engineers depending on the scope of a particular assignment.
Assures that all work on assigned projects is timely, accurate, and high quality.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
15-20 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:
ETHYLENE CRACKERS, POLYMERS, EO/PO, GLYCOLS AND POLYESTERS
ONLY CHEMICAL/PETROCHEMICAL BACKGROUND.
NOT LOOKING FOR REFINERY EXPERIENCE.
