| Job Description |
Research & Development and Product Engineering of downhole hydraulic Coiled Tubing tractors and specialized CT products.
BS or MS, 8+ years experience, skilled in R&D of mechanical and hydro-mechanical product design, analysis, and test. Must be familiar with all aspects of design, analysis, 3-D modeling with Solid Works, drawing preparation including tolerancing parts, prototyping, functional testing, documentation procedures and on-going and new product development. Responsibilities are to support the design, development, testing of mechanical systems of sophisticated downhole Coiled Tubing tools but other downhole tool background areas are acceptable. Must be self starter, can work individually or in small teams. Must have excellent language, and communication skills. Must be hands-on with the ability to easily move from the computer to the lab. Training will include multiple field experiences at several locations around the globe with the existing product line. The position will involve development of new products including field testing. This is NOT a management or project management position and those candidates not meeting these requirements will not be considered.
The position will be located in California and report to the Director of Engineering. Salary is negotiable depending upon background, experience, and other qualifications.
