| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical refinery industry, seeks a Senior Project Estimator .
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
- Lead a team of experienced estimators in preparation of large and complex Total Installed Cost (TIC) Estimates for proposals and check estimates on existing projects.
- Responsible for all aspects of delivering the estimate - including developing the estimate plan, monitoring hours and progress of the estimating team against budget and schedule targets, ensuring that other departments provide input to the estimate as required and on time, and presenting the final estimate to Management.
- Work independently to prepare Order-of-Magnitude and Factored estimates for medium and large projects.
- Prepare Home Office Services Estimates.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior level estimators.
- Bachelors Degree.
- 11 to 15 years of experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, Ability to make deadlines.
- Ability to re-direct the team to successfully deliver the estimate when circumstances change. Good communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience using MC2 software
