Job Description
Our client in the Semi-Conductor Manufacturing industry seeks a Project Manager.

Responsibilities/Requirements:
-Determine and implement client’s goals, needs and objectives to projects
-Implement and exercise effective budget and schedule controls
-Conduct periodic project progress/coordination meetings with project team, clients and Engineering Director
-Enforce Quality Control procedures
-Review project plans developed by Project Engineers
-Keep design members informed about all aspects of the project
-Ensure cooperation and coordination among all design team members involved with projects
-Marketing and client relations
-Establish rapport with clients
-Participate in marketing efforts as assigned by the Business Development Manager or Engineering Operations Director
-Prepare assigned proposals and contracts
-Participate in client interviews, presentations and contract negotiations
-Take active role in technical societies and community activities, and encourage project personnel to do the same
-Seek out opportunities to market engineering services
-Personnel and Training tasks
-Assist with selection of project staffing when requested
-Assist senior management in development of training materials and presentation of training programs on request
-Provide guidance and counsel to less experienced personnel engaged in project management responsibilities
-Interview prospective project management applicants and recommend action to Engineering Management
-Prepare monthly invoice reports, workload projections, manpower allocations and project reports
-Review invoices to ensure currency and accuracy
-Keep the Engineering Director current on project progress
-Perform ad hoc assignments from the Engineering Director
-Participate in staff meetings
-Previous, similar role in high-tech architectural and engineering organization; normally requires a minimum of 20 years related experience
-Professional Engineering Registration in Mechanical Engineering
-BSME or degree equivalent
-Demonstrable commitment to organizational goals
