| Job Description |
Our client in the engineering industry seeks a Smart Plant Engineer.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
-Perform basic engineering calculations
-Prepare specifications
-Reports and related data tables
-Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups
-Prepare, review and approve drawings as required
-Bachelors of Science degree in appropriate engineering discipline or the sciences from a four year accredited college or university or equivalent education
-7+ years engineering experience in the discipline
-Professional engineer license preferred
-Under the direction of the SDE, may perform technical assignment of various complexities within approved engineering schedules and budgets
-Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project
-Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned engineering and design/drafting personnel
-Comply with the applicable state requirement related to affixing registered engineers seal on engineering documents
-Working knowledge of SPE and SP3D and Intools
-Knowledge of electrical equipment and bulks
-Knowledge of instrumentation equipment
-Knowledge of electrical design
