| Job Description |
Our client, in the Houston area, seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer.
Responsibilities & Requirements include:
-15 or more years experience in technical field
-10 or more years experience in similar position
-7 or more years experience in offshore pipeline
industry
-Knowledge of ASME/ANSI and API codes, DOI and DOT regulations, NFPA regulations.
-Has special recognition for technical qualifications or management/project management qualifications-Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Process, Piping or Safety discipline from accredited college or university or equivalent.
-Current registration with Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
-Provides support for proposal efforts, evaluates various field development options, develops and manages junior engineers.
-Develops cost estimates, budget, responsible for project development and project schedule.
-Participates in technical evaluation and selection of software, hardware and vendors.
-Responsible for HAZOPs, vendor interface and testing and evaluation of software tools.
-Write specifications and project review reports, and prepares presentations.
