| Job Description |
Our client, in the Houston area, seeks a Sr. Instrument & Electrical Designer.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-10 or more years of experience as designer and checker
-Minimum of two years college technical school or equivalent work experience.
-Knowledge of AutoCAD, PDMS and third party software used to produce preliminary and construction type drawings for projects.
-Senior discipline designer capable of developing conceptual, preliminary and construction type drawings.
-Supervise senior designers, designers and junior designers in day to day tasks.
-Interface with clients, project managers and engineers, other discipline designers and project controls on large and small, single or multi-disciplined projects.
-Coordinate design procedures, schedules, and manpower on large and small projects.
-Interface with clients, project engineers, other design disciplines, vendors, procurement, document controls, etc.
-Prepare project progress reports as needed, and performs duties as a senior designer and checker on projects.
-Assist clients and fabricators during construction, and train designers and junior designers.
-Act as design coordinator on smaller projects as required, and attends project meetings as required. |
