| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks a Project Controls Manager.
Responsibilities and Requirements includes:
-Twelve (12)+ years of experience required.
-BA or BS or related experience.
-Accomplishes results through lower-level subordinate supervisors or experienced exempt employees.
-Direct subordinates based on general policies and management guidance.
-Interpret and executes policies that affect subordinate units.
-Function as unit advisor, and is involved in daily operations only to resolve complex problems or meet schedules.
-Frequent contacts with internal and external individuals at all management levels, as well as conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings related to specific operations.
-Maintain project ledgers showing budget line items, commitments, expenditures and forecasts.
-Ensure the integrity of the project budget through approved scope changes, fiscal changes and contingency reallocations.
-Verify invoices and their correct holdback, coding, and allocation, as well as the overhead charges and their distribution.
-Issues project cost reports which includes forecast final costs and variances.
-Flag significant projected overruns or underruns, and ensures final payments of hold back on all contracts and closing of accounts upon project completion.
-May head a centralized function.
