| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks a Cost Engineer.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-Minimum of seven (7) years experience in project controls.
-Minimum of one (1) year on a project construction site.
-BS or MS in a related field
-Knowledge of the Operating Procedures for Project Controls, as well as the scope of work for the project.
-Coordinate and monitor cost engineering activities and assist in implementing required resources and systems to ensure availability of timely, accurate, cost, information, and forecasts.
-Facilitate cost portion of weekly project team meetings, as well as monitor, analyze, and forecast all cost elements on the project, including changes.
-Input or update budget information, expenditure information, and forecasts into the cost reporting system.
-Prepare and analyze revenue and cost for home office and field services, including margin analysis.
-Basic understanding of the scheduling techniques and principles being used on the assigned projects.
-Prepare and assist Business Development in the preparation of Pro-services estimates for proposals.
-Print and distribute technical and administrative reports, and assemble of monthly report packages.
-Knowledgeable in the overall functions and use of commercial and/or proprietary project controls systems including the resources requirements and training required for their effective use.
