| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks a Civil Field Engineer.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-6 to 10 years of experience with BS or MS in an engineering discipline.
-5 to 10 years in supervisory position if from craft ranks plus 3 years at Level II.
-Lead responsibility over field engineers.
-Function as a technical specialist.
-Work performed with minimal supervision; has considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
-Assure effective utilization of engineering personnel, and technical quality.
-Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and documents.
-Establishe centerline and elevations of all areas of construction.
-Perform moderate to complex mathematical problems.
-Check installations to ensure that foundations are in accordance with plans and specifications.
-Coordinate field engineering activity with construction supervisor.
-Supervise layout parties, assigns work, and monitors for performance and accuracy.
-Perform as-builts as required, and pre-pour checkouts or concrete placements.
-Assure that all work is done in accordance with project procedural requirements and accepted survey techniques. |
