| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks a Senior Inspector - Structural Steel Specialit.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-Minimum 15 years of experience.
-BS in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
-Responsible for management of a team of Inspectors on a large, >$50M construction cost, technically complex project.
-Provide technical guidance to Inspectors and Project Engineers.
-Interpret complex drawings and specifications,and recommends technical solutions.
-Oversee inspection processes such as daily reports, punchlist, Document Clarification Request, submittal, CPM schedule and invoice reviews.
-Monitor jobsite safety and housekeeping, as well as coordinates closely with Project Manager and Superintendent.
-Fully accountable to Project Manager for identifying all construction quality, safety, and schedule deficiencies in a timely and constructive manner.
-Supervise up to 5 Inspectors, and obtain quality performance from subordinates and contractors.
-Implement established inspection procedures and develops specialized procedures to meet specific project requirements. |
