| Job Description |
Our client, in the engineering, procurement, and construction EPC industry, seeks a Lead Electrical Designer.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
- Includes utilizing design system for the production of complex electrical design deliverables.
- Generates engineering drawings and bulk material take offs for electrical materials.
- Checks drawings before issuing to Electrical Engineering Lead.
- Support development of junior designers.
- May be the Electrical Design Lead for an assigned project.
- Maintains and promotes a focus on Company's end product whether engineering, fabrication or construction.
- Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines.
- Ensures effective management of change.
- Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, quantity and budget control.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design modeling, drafting and design.
- Proficent in current design, drafting, and software packages.
- 2 year college degree in drafting preferred.
- 3D modeling a plus. |
