| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks an Autoplant Piping Designer.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-8 to 10 years of experience required, drafting/design and related coursework, BS reduces experience requirement by 1-2 years.
-Minimum of 3 years experience performing Piping/Plant Layout inside of BENTLEY AUTOPLANT environment.
-Canadian project experience a plus.
-General knowledge of other related disciplines.
-Provide solutions to a wide range of complex problems under general direction.
-Determine and develop approach to solutions.
-Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
-Design components or portions of systems, and modifies existing designs to develop or improve them.
-Use computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools.
-Gather information, makes studies, perform calculations, and prepare original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal.
-Coordinate design criteria with engineering, tooling, material, and planning group in accordance with contractual specifications. |
