| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks a PDS Piping Checker.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-B.S. in related field.
-Minimum 8-10 years of experience in drafting/design.
-Experience in piping layout using PDS 3D software.
-Experience in piping design checking using PDS or Smartplant.
-Review experience required.
-Understand and apply technical principles, theories and concepts in the field.
-Provide solutions to a wide range of complex problems under general direction.
-Determine and develop approach to solutions.
-Design component or portions of systems, and modify existing designs for improvement.
-Use computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools.
-Gather information, make studies, perform calculations, and prepare original rough layouts and sketches.
-Coordinate design criteria with engineering, tooling, material, and planning group in accordance with contractual specifications. |
