| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks a Pipe Stress Engineer.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-Minimum of 12 years of experience in engineering.
-Experience in leading small projects or area lead.
-Additional experience within a specialty (such as FE analysis, pipe spec writing).
-Work on and/or supervise the design of larger and more complex units.
-Perform design quality check of other stress engineers calculations, line list and specialty items, as well as technical analysis of bid packages for pipe supports, specialty items, valves and bulk pipe.
-Familiar with job cost accounting, change management and procurement activities.
-Work with Piping Lead Engineer, or perform the duties of the lead piping engineer at the project level to conduct pipe stress analysis, line list development, specialty item development, write procurement, and fabrication\construction specifications
-Handle all procurement activities, job cost accounting, manpower planning, estimating, and write change notices.
-Supervise staff members and area leads as overall lead, and liaising with the other project team members on common elements. |
