| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks an Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-15+ years of experience
-B.S. or M.S. in an engineering discipline.
-Professional Engineer (PE) license.
-Responsible for all projects assigned to unit, and frequent contact with equivalent level managers concerning projects, operational decisions or scheduling requirements.
-Research, develop, design, and test equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial purposes.
-Evaluate the desired goal of the system and develops, designs, or selects the required equipment, power controls, piping, structures and earthwork.
-Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial and commercial applications.
-Participate in planning, cost development and management.
-Schedule for assigned projects.
-Direct activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements.
-Direct and coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
-Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering task. |
