| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks a Process Engineer.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-Minimum 7-10 years experience
-B.S. or M.S. in an engineering discipline
-Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
-Develop designs which require innovation and ingenuity, as well as determine objectives and approaches to assignments.
-Participate in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis, development of process options and optimization of selected design.
-Implement, modify, and maintain chemical processes, as well as calculate and organize data for process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations.
-Model processes and unit operation, and ensure proper sequence of operation.
-Prepare specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment.
-Develop process flow diagram to define heat and material balance, as well as process specifications.
-Participate in planning, cost development, and management.
-Responsible for the schedule for assigned projects, as well as direct activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements. |
