| Job Description |
Our client, in the petrochemical-refinery industry, seeks a Heat Transfer Engineer.
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
-Minimum 10 years experience with heat transfer equipment with E&C companies, operating companies or fabricators.
-Should have thermal and mechanical design experience.
-B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
-Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
-Proficient with HTRI
-Able to use either RCS or BJAC for mechanical designs.
-Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, Division 1, TEMA, and API 660 and 661 standards.
-Able to thermally rate and mechanically design shell and tubes, hairpin, and air-cooled heat exchangers.
-Assemble requisition packages, complete technical bid evaluations, review vendor drawings/data, and coordinate activities with vendors, clients, and project team.
-Produce project deliverables, and supervise and mentor other engineers.
-Some travel required. |
